Meet The Swilled Dog Family

Swilled Dog is proud to be a majority female-owned company earning credibility in the male-dominated beverage industry.  We are proud, also, to have brought together a primarily female powerhouse leadership team. Most of us are moms and dads raising little ones along with our four-legged babies.

Lauren Hagman

Operations Manager

Lauren manages the tasting room in Upper Tract where she plans fun experiences for Swilled Dog customers and oversees tasting room operations. Lauren also assists with aspects of production including inventory, accounts payable, receivables, and research and development. You might also come across Lauren at festivals and events serving up Swilled Dog or on ride-alongs with our distributor.

Lauren, a native of Michigan, moved to West Virginia in March 2021. Her love for cider began early and was inspired by the vast number of apple orchards across Michigan. After starting a gluten-free diet in college, she determined to find the best semi-sweet hard cider in the Midwest and East Coast. After moving to West Virginia and discovering Swilled Dog the search was finally over. You can catch Lauren sipping her favorite cider, Walk The Dog, while out on an adventure in the mountains with her husky Sterling.
