Brooke Glover

CEO & Co-Founder

In 2016, Brooke co-founded Swilled Dog to handcraft delicious cider for consumers in West Virginia and beyond. Today she is the CEO of the fastest growing craft beverage brand in West Virginia. 

Brooke serves as the Vice President of the American Cider Association and was recently elected to another term on the ACA Board. She sits on both the Legislative and Data Insights committees and is an active proponent for the interests of craft cideries in the US and abroad, including lobbying for the passage of the Craft Beverage Modernization Act. She also serves on the Craft Advisory Council at DISCUS. Brooke is a certified cider maker through the Cider Institute of North America (CINA), and a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level I in Spirits. Brooke has been featured on CNBC, Fox Business News, Authority Magazine and as a speaker at WVU.

Before founding Swilled Dog, Brooke spent seven years as the director of sales and marketing as well as director of operations for an IT consulting group. She started her career in commercial lending and private wealth management.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from West Virginia University. Brooke and her husband Brad have three kids and share their home with their first family member and the face of Swilled Dog, Lucy Pickles.

Kim Kirk

Director of Marketing

 

Kim Kirk is the Director of Marketing at Swilled Dog, overseeing the company's branding, marketing, and charitable giving efforts. With a background in nonprofit marketing, Kim brings over 10 years of experience to her role, having previously served as the Director of Marketing for Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance and Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce. Her passion for working with entrepreneurs to promote their businesses is what attracted Kim to Swilled Dog.

Kim graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication and West Virginia University with a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications. Kim is also a Level 1 certified cider professional with the American Cider Association and was recently named to the 2022 West Virginia State's Journal Generation Next: 40 under 40 List. 

Kim lives in Pendleton County, West Virginia with her husband, three children and golden retriever Zoey.
