Old Gold & Blue is a limited-release series made for Mountaineers. The first expression is a 5 ½ year straight bourbon whiskey, finished in a #4 char barrel once filled with maple syrup from Pendleton County, WV, and matured in the unique climate of Upper Tract. With only 700 bottles produced, the result is a spirit shaped by Appalachian land, refined through local craft, and loyal to its roots. Expertly finished, it proves that true loyalty doesn’t fade. It only deepens with time. Just like the colors we wear with pride: Old Gold & Blue.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Rich milk chocolate and roasted walnut meet earthy leather and the nostalgic papery tones of an old library. Accents of vanilla and bright orange zest lift and balance the depth.

PALATE: Opens with warm banana bread and sweet toffee, followed by nutmeg spice and maple from the cask finish. A wine-like depth adds elegance and complexity.

FINISH: Long and smooth, with lingering dark chocolate and no burn. An initial bite softens into a refined, warm finish.
