Here’s how to make it like we do in West Virginia:
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Swilled Dog Barrel Strength Straight Bourbon
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- Fresh Mint Leaves
- Crushed Ice
- Mint Sprig (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Muddle the Mint: Gently muddle a few mint leaves with simple syrup in a julep cup or rocks glass.
- Add the Bourbon: Pour in our Barrel Strength Bourbon — the heart of this cocktail.
- Fill with Crushed Ice: Pack your glass full of crushed ice to keep it icy cold.
