Brooke Glover is the heart and driving force behind Swilled Dog. As CEO and Co-Founder, she has led the company since its founding in 2016, transforming a family passion into one of West Virginia’s most celebrated craft spirits brands. A proud West Virginia University alumna, Brooke brings a bold vision, business expertise, and deep state pride to Swilled Dog’s award-winning small-batch craft spirits.
Under Brooke’s leadership, Swilled Dog has earned national acclaim, including top honors at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and recognition from the World Whiskies Awards. She also spearheaded the creation of the Official Bourbon of WVU Athletics, blending innovation with tradition to capture the spirit of Mountaineer Nation.
Brooke is a respected leader and advocate in the craft beverage industry. She previously served as Vice President of the Board for the American Cider Association, where she also contributed to the Data Insights and Legislative Committees. She currently serves as a member of the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) Craft Spirits Advisory Council. In 2023, Brooke was named a West Virginia Wonder Woman by WV Living Magazine, and in 2024 was honored with the prestigious Dave Pickerell Memorial Craft Member of the Year Award by DISCUS—recognizing her outstanding contributions to the advancement of craft distilling. Her leadership and entrepreneurial journey have been featured on many podcasts, in speaking engagements, and major media outlets including CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fox Business News, and Authority Magazine.
Driven by purpose as much as product, Brooke has built Swilled Dog on a foundation of giving back, with a portion of every bottle supporting animal welfare and community-focused initiatives.
