Country Roads Trust and Swilled Dog announced the second release in their 1863 Bourbon Collection — 1863 Take Me Home, which will be hitting store shelves in April.

According to a joint press release, 1863 Take Me Home is a 115-proof straight bourbon whisky aged for four years in a #3 char white American oak barrel and finished in a maple syrup cask. Swilled Dog’s distillers said that Take Me Home has notes of raisin, maple and chocolate.

They will be making 3,600 bottles, more than double the amount of the first release in the series which sold out online in under two hours. General Manager and COO of Country Roads Trust Stephen Ford said the success of the previous release proved that Mountaineer fans were eager for more ways to support Mountaineer athletes through premium collector’s items.

Bottles of 1863 Take Me Home will go on sale online and at retail locations on April 10; a list of locations selling the bourbon will be made available on the TrustBourbon website.
